These two pieces were made as an imaginary journey into a neural stem cell. My own interpretation on the ‘cell reflections’ that an initial stem cell carries to the cells it create. It’s all so magical to me. It is creation.
I started with mirrors hand embroidered onto artist canvas, topped with tiny glass beads and then stretched and painted. Each piece is 16x20 and stretched into heavy duty museum stretcher bars. The sides are painted so they need no frames. Ready to hang
