Abstract swaths of color evoke mountains swimming against a sunset sky. 12x36 and 1.5" deep on a gallery wrap stretcher bars - no frame necessary.
Four strands of color were hand embroidered directly onto heavy weight artist canvas. Once finished, I stretched the canvas on gallery wrap stretcher bars, then painted around the embroidery very carefully.
I do all handwork myself and have developed this unique method of combining cotton embroidery thread and acrylic paint into a fine art piece you won't find anywhere else.
