This 9x9 inch framed reproduction of my original embroidered painting 'Starry Night' represents a brain, mapped by functions using fabric collage, embroidery thread and beads in the original.
The original painting was collaged with hand marbled velvets, vintage beaded fabric, then hand embroidered with cotton embroidery thread and beaded with glass beads directly onto the canvas. I then stretched and painted around the embroidery very carefully. This listing is for a 5x5 giclee framed reproduction only.
The 4th photo is the original. The frame comes with a sawtooth hangar in the back and is ready to hang.
This piece was commissioned by a customer who had a very personal connection to the piece and she kindly allowed me to have it photographed so I could offer it to you.
