This original fiber art piece represents the meditative mind and our ability to change our thoughts with focus.
I start with a quick drawing, then do working intuitively I lay down a fabric collage built from tiny pieces of found and donated fabrices. Next comes hours and hours of hand embroidery. When all the fiber is finished, I stretch the canvas onto stretcher bars and then paint around it very carefully.
Its a meditative and time consuming process and I love every moment of it. This piece will remind you to be mindful everyday. This piece also features a hand embroidered mandala to focus on.
