This baby's profile features a brain hand embroidered with cotton thread nestled inside a sunflower. All fiber work is applied directly onto artist's canvas. All embroidery is done by hand. Once I've finished creating the fiber art image, I stretch it onto a canvas frame and paint (very carefully) around the fiber work. See the in process photos included for a look into the creation of this piece.
The final piece is a baby's brain germinating = the process of something coming into existence and developing.
It is 8x10 inches and wired for hanging on the back. It can be framed or hung as is. Ready to ship.
