DayDreaming - 16x20 original

$1,400.00

I started with a long strip of rainbow fabric sewn onto artist weight canvas in a twisting pattern to mimic the gyri and sulci of the brain. Then I painstakingly hand embroidered around the cloth and added handmade flameworked beads made by my daughter. I also added in seed beads, buttons and trim staying within the framework of the rainbow cloth. Once all of the handwork was done, I stretched it onto heavy duty gallery wrap stretcher bars and painted the canvas. The sides are painted so it needs no frame. This 16x20 inch finished piece is ready to hang on your wall and keep you daydreaming cause there is so much to look at in all the glorious detail.
