Using the Kinusaiga technique of tucked fabric, I built an improvisational brain with lots of action and color in it. Roughly based on a hand embroidered improv brain done many years ago. Mostly batik cotton fabrics the white fabric outside the brain also includes images of dragonflies - a favorite of mine.
This is one of the first pieces I’ve created in this technique, and is being sold as a second because it is not perfect. Signed original art and one of a kind - I will not be making a print of it. Each Kinusaiga piece is 8×8 inches and comes framed in a sturdy shadowbox frame that measures 9×9×1.75 inches. It can be hung on the wall or can easily sit on a shelf.
