Using the Kinusaiga technique of tucked fabric, I built a top view down brain with lovely colors and hills and valleys reminiscent of the gyri in the brain. I’ve named it mountain air because in my imagination this is what my brain looks like when I’m drinking in pure mountain air - its serene and calming.
This is one of the first pieces I’ve created in this technique, and is being sold as a second because it is not perfect. Signed original art and one of a kind - I will not be making a print of it. Each Kinusaiga piece is 8×8 inches and comes framed in a sturdy shadowbox frame that measures 9×9×1.75 inches. It can be hung on the wall or can easily sit on a shelf.
