Using the Kinusaiga technique of tucked fabric, I built a top down view of the brain in purple, blue and green hues. Some of the fabrics feature star shine. It is surrounded by a bright green batik fabric. I like to imagine it is what my brain looks like when I’m looking up at the stars on a clear calm night.
Signed original art and one of a kind - I will not be making prints of it. This Kinusaiga piece is 8×8 inches and comes framed in a sturdy shadowbox frame that measures 9×9×1.75 inches. It can be hung on the wall or can easily sit on a shelf.
